Engelhart Cornelius Ostby is a legend in the jewelry trade. He emigrated from Oslo, Norway to the US in 1869. After forming his own company with his partner, Nathan Barton in 1879, they became well known for their high quality and beautifully made jewelry. Mr. Ostby later died when the Titanic sunk in 1912.
