General Notes on Condition:
Items may be exposed to cigarette smoke, light, air pollution, dust, etc. due to the Environmental factors. Therefore many older items can understandably show the markings of time. It is our policy to be as accurate as is possible when describing condition. Unless clearly stated, we have not participated in the restoration of our items. We will do our best to describe any restorations that we are able to detect, but when properly done they can be easy to miss. When we refer to condition as 'Good', it means ‘Good, with its age taken into account'
General Notes on Insurance:
We ship all items insured, and on rare occasions an item will be lost or damaged in transit. In such instances there can be a delay in receiving a settlement for the shipping claim. We will handle the claim and issue a refund to you promptly after receiving the funds from the insurer. You may be required to hold a damaged item and the original shipping materials in the condition in which you received them while waiting for an inspection by the shipper. If a package arrives with obvious signs of physical damage (crumpled sides or a puncture, for instance) please inform the delivery person immediately when it arrives and contact us before you open it.
General Notes on International sales:
International buyers are responsible for all local customs fees, duties, and taxes. These costs are not included in our shipping charges and we don’t know how to calculate them for you. We declare all items at their actual sales price on customs forms. Because gifts are uninsurable we do not declare any item as a “gift.”
