A lovely circa 1820s Staffordshire dark blue transferware fruit & floral border plate with a view entitled "Saxham Hall". It shows a house in the background with two men, a woman and a dog in the foreground. It is marked on the back as shown.Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs. There are a couple normal light interior utensil marks that are very minor. Has good color, shiny glaze and no discoloration. A nice plate.Measures 8.5" across.
