This is for anice clean condition pair of Georgian spectacles with English sterling silver frames. Theyare magnified andhave hinged arms with loops on the ends. The silver carries a full and clear set ofEnglish sterling silverhallmarks that date them to Birmingham 1815 along with the makers initials IS for John Shaw. The outer side of one of the arms is marked D4 which i am not sure relates to strength or not? The glasses areinexcellent conditionwith no damage to them anywhereand theymeasure 115mm (4.3") across with each lens measuring 28mm (1")in the other glasses & spectacles, antique smoking and writing implements, scientific and optical instruments,art deco and art nouveauitems and all the other vintage ladies and gentlemans accessories I am selling on this week.
