Description:

This exquisite little vase is marked STEUBEN AURENE and numbered 8645 to base and dates from circa 1920.
Stands a tad under 2 1/2 inches / 55 mm tall.
Brilliant peacock blue/gold/silver highly iridescent finish.
Fire-polished rim and neatly polished pontil.
PRISTINE PERFECT CONDITION - No damages or restorations -minimal scratching to base commensurate with age , but this piece looks as if it has spent it's entire life in a display cabinet.
Provenance: Bought by seller circa mid-1980s from Phillip's (now Bonhams), Bond Street London , 20th Century Decorative Arts Sale . Pair cost $800
