Presented for sale is Large Solid Silver Tea Caddy Spoon, hallmarked forLondon 1830 by James Wintle.

Thissuperbantique solid silver tea caddy spoon has a large oblong shaped bowl which is bright cut engraved with a fabulous foliate pattern andhas an equallysuperbfiddle and shell embossed handle. It is fully hallmarked to theback of the handle with theDuty mark of King William IV's head, the Date letter P for 1830, theLion Passant denoting solidsterling silver, the London assay office Leopards headand theMakers mark JW, please see all the additional photos.

Measuringjust under 4"long approx. the bowl measures 1 1/2" by 1 3/4" approx. it is inexcellent usedcondition withno dents, dings, splits or repairs and weighs 12.9grams by myelectronic scales.
