1880's STUNNING KESTNER AB ALL BISQUE WRESTLER 8.5" TALL DOLL BENT ARMS EXTREMLY RARE!
DOLL IS 8.5" TALL.
ORIGINAL MOHAIR WIG WITH PATE IS IN GREAT SHAPE.
BLUE GLASS EYES ARE FIXED IN PLACE.
PEIRCED EARS. OPEN MOUTH WITH TEETH INTACT.
DOLL ISUNMARKED, BUT I BELIEVE IT IS AN EARLY KESTNER. IT IS SHOWN ON PAGE 132 OF ALL BISQUE & HALF DOLLS BY GENEVIEVE ANGIONE.
HER LEFT ARM WAS BROKEN AND REGLUED AT THE CREASE (SEE PICTURES BELOW). SHE HAS A SMALL CHIP ON HER RIGHT THIGH,OTHERWISE DOLL IS IN GREAT SHAPE WITH NO OTHER CRACKS , CHIPS OR BREAKS.
HEAD, ARMS & LEGS ARE POSEABLE. LEFT LEG NEEDS TO BE REATTACHED.
VERY RARE YELLOW PAINTED SHOES.
