A stunning modernist English solid sterlingsilver vase. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1972 with the maker’s mark beingBS for BarrowcliftSilvercraft. It has been superblydesigned with the stem being cast in the form of a rose. It is in superb conditionbeing free from dings splits and repairs - the inside is lightly gilded. It measures 6.5 inches (16.5cms) tallby over 2.25 inches (6cms) across the base and is very heavy weighting 163 grams (not weighted). A beautifulquality piece.
