Stunning Old Rare Zuni Silver Flush Set Turquoise Inlay Ring Frank Dishta:
OLD ZUNI STERLING SILVER FLUSH SET TURQUOISE INLAY RING
Old hand made Zuni ring dating back to around 1940's or 1950's. Made most likely by famous C.G. Wallace jeweler Frank Dishta(1902-1954) best known for his intricate channel inlay work composed of tiny turquoise circles and teardrops set in plain bezels and ground flush.
He began producing in 1925 and continued until his untimely death in 1954. He was well represented in the 1975 Sotheby sale of the "Wallace Collection" bringing record breaking prices for Native American made jewelry. His pieces are highly sought after and continue to increase in value. Made of unmarked coin silver or higher quality, in near excellent vintage condition, with one stone missing and a dark and untouched patina.
A spectacular collector piece!!!!...
Please take a look at my other sales to find a necklace and a set of earrings by same maker and era.
The ring measures a size 8 on a ring sizer. 1-3/4" long and 11/16" wide.
Amazing detail throughout.
A great Native American made and collectible Accessory.
