This sale is for a quality Silver Plated Centre Piece Fruit Bowl that has a decorative beaded rim to the bowl and base and stands on an elegant centre column.
Clearly marked to the base N.V.T.S. Sheffield
I have taken several photographs to show you both the quality and condition of this piece. I have given it a very light clean as it has been in storage for a number of years and would benefit from further cleaning.
These were used as table centre pieces to display fruit and other luxurious foods that the Victorians consumed, these are still used as fruit bowls but also Bon Bon or Nut bowls, would look extremely impressive on the dining table.
