A superbVictorian Sowerby of Gateshead opalescent twin handled glass salt in excellent condition, there is a tiny amount of dirt or frit within the glass noticeable only on part of the inner base edge this would haveoccurred during the manufacturing procedure and iscommon in pieces of this age, it is totallyinvisible on display. The salt carries a base registration lozenge which dates it precisely to 18th September 1877. Measures 9 cms diameter and 5 cms tall.Low 99p start. Thanks.
