PLEASE READ: The jewelry I am listing is from an extensive collection purchased by my late sweetie (and/or her mom) on vacation trips to New Mexico (and the Southwest in general) during the \'60s and \'70s.
PLEASE NOTE: THESE AREALLAUTHENTIC NATIVE AMERICAN PIECES PURCHASED DIRECTLY FROM THE ARTISTS, EITHER IN THE SQUARE AT SANTA FE, OR AT THE INDIVIDUAL PUEBLOS. THESE ARE GENUINE NATIVE AMERICAN WORKS OF ART IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WHICH HAVE REMAINED IN THE FAMILY EVER SINCE THEY WERE PURCHASED!
These pieces have spent the majority of their lives safely stored in plastic bags with pieces of chalk to deter tarnishing. My late mom-in-law learned that trick long ago and instilled it in us, thus these pieces all look essentially \"new\". Very few have been fully \"cleaned\"...most are just CLEAN from having been sealed away from oxidation throughout these last 40+ particular listing is for one of the most strikingly designed necklaces in our collection. This stunning triangular piece of Picasso Jasper, set in a silver setting and suspended by two ten-inch strands of hematite barrel beads is a true head-turner! A true piece of original 1970s design!
The triangular piece of Picasso Jasper is a delight to the eye, with strong markings and variations of shade. It sits at the end of two strands of hematite barrel beads, which terminate at the triangle with two arrow-shaped pieces of hematite, intentionally drawing the eye to the triangular bit of wonder suspended below. The necklace secures with a barrel-clasp, fastened at the ends of the natural string holding the beads.
