Up for saleis an amazing early 1980'sUSNavy variant of theMBU-5/P oxygen mask. Its a sizelong narrowand is dated 2nd quarter of 1982. It was manufactured byScott andis totally complete. It's wired withan M101 microphone,external AM-3597C/A 27.5v inline amplifier, Navy coiled communications cord andextension cable.There are no areas of dryness, cracking or discoloration and there are no funny smells. The retention harnessis avibrant greencolor, no sun fading.Both retention harness to hardshell mounting snaps retain their small domedretaining screws. Thecombination inhalation and exhalation valve functionssmoothly and the mask retains its tension cord that runs from the valvealong the inside of the hoseand clips to the3-pin oxygenconnector. Thisfeature addssignificant strength to the hose. It has a standard 3-pin oxygen connector. Navy variants of the MBU-5/P are very rare and they dont getmuch better than this!

Overall this is an extremely high qualityexamplethat would make an excellent addition to any collection, large or small!
