For sale this stunningvintage Art Deco Silver Plate & Crystal Cut-Glass Decanter - c1910-1940.
Super workmanship and a beautifuldecanter.Blown crystal glass body with finequality geometric wheel-cut cross-hatch decoration and silver plated waist neck and stopper.
The decanteris ingoodvintage condition , commensurate with materials ,age and use...No major damage ,just typical light wear , clean & bright.
The silver plate isquite goodwith no plate loss other than on the stopper base , not affecting the excellent aesthetics...There is some light wear and blemishing to the collar and stopper ball finial , again not really affecting the aesthetics.
Please note - The silver plate rim / pouring lip is very good with no damage , the dark / black colours seen in the photographs are purely background reflections the rim is fine.
The glass is very good for its age , clean and bright with no damage and just typicallight vintage wear to the base and one or two tiny minute marks on the body , hardly noticeable.
MEASURING APPROXIMATELY......252mm(10in) tall including thestopper ..x.. 110mm(4 3/8in) body diameter.
