During our research we have been informed itdatesfrom the 18th century and is ofenglishorigin.

Certainly a quite superb intricateoak carving of the crouched lion with the shield.

Carved in relief,therefore a one piece carving.

Mounted ontothe circular base which can be removed if one required.

Intricate mane and clawed feet.

Monogram to the shield of EW.

Hasan overall heightof about 11.5inches.

Max base diaof about 5.5inches.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall withoutanyblemish except chipping to the mounted base.
