This is a quite superb19th centuryblackamoor female with the tray of which:
we have been informed she dates from the 19th century.
Underneath is the Bernard Bloch incised logo of the said period.
Incised number of: 4451In a of theblackamoorfemale holding out a tray.
Portrayed in thewonderful dress attire of the said period.
To the rear is a vase.
Mounted onto the decorative base.
She has an overall height ofabout 12.75inches.
Overall base sizeof about 4.5 x 4inches.
Overall max depth including tray of about 6.5inches.
Condition: Considering the age: the overall conditionis very good and is subject to:
an early repair to the tray with a chip to its edge.
Early repairs to both hands at the wrists.
Minor areas of rubbing.
