This sale is for a finely made Annamese porcelain vase hand painted in underglaze blue and dates to the 14th century. The vase is in Meiping form and has an intricate design around the exterior. Accompanying this vase is an Oxford TL (thermoluminescence) analysis report which estimates this vase to date between 500 and 900 years old which is consistent with the 14th century dating. It is diffucult to find pieces of this age and quality, especially with a confirmed Oxford TL test. The vase stands 7 inches (17.75cm) tall and is in excellent condition with no damage. There are some spots of pitting to the glaze which is common with pieces of this age.
