SUPERB LARGE ANTIQUE CHINESE YELLOW CRACKLE GLAZE VASE

Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1912)

Gorgeous Qing Dynasty porcelain vase of exquisite subtle yellow coloration and minute crazing. Wellpotted bottle form with a globular body and long slender neck.Of significant size, measuring nearly 15\" tall.

The glaze is of attractive, evengentle yellow coloration suffused with handsomecrazing. Both theinterior of the vase and the recessed foot are glazed white. Thecircular foot ring has been left unglazed and displays burntorange firing coloration. The vase is in excellent antique condition bearingjust minor wear commensurate with age. We note someage related darkening andwear to the rim, butnothing that in any way detracts from the sublime form and beauty of the piece.Dating to the Qing Dynasty, this rare and meticulously crafted example ofChineseporcelain ware is of most tasteful quality. Very elegant in thetraditional Chinese aesthetic. Displays in magnificent fashion.This connoisseur\'s vase would make an exquisitecenterpiece for the discriminating collector of the finest Chinese antiques.
