Up for sale with is a really fabulous Antique English Silver Plate Epergne or 5 Serving Bowl Centerpiece. The Epergne is top quality throughout with great Edwardian designs and the Bowls features a nice Half Rib and Beaded pattern throughout. The Epergne features a large central serving Bowl and 4 smaller Serving Bowls, making it very practical for modern use or it would look fabulous filled with fruits etc on a sideboard. The Epergne is in very good condition for being over 100 years old with some wear to the Copper on the high spots of the Stand and some wear inside the Bowls, as shown in our photos. The Epergne is a nice large and impressive example being not too tall so it could be used on a dining table and you would still be able to see your guests across from you. The overall measurements are 8-1/4" tall by 18-1/2" wide with the large Bowl measuring 8-1/4" across by 3" tall and the smaller Bowls measuring 2" tall by 4-3/4" wide. The Stand is marked for the World Famous Barker Bros who later became Barker Ellis and the Large Bowl is marked for the top English Silversmith Charles Howard Collins, while the smaller bowls are simply marked Made in England, I believe the Stand was made for Charles Howard Collins. Epergnes like this are always very popular and I don't think you find many this nice up for sale with and an opening offer of just $8.50 !

We make great effort to accurately describe each item listed. Returns are accepted, if either condition, country of origin or dating we stateis significantly incorrect. In such cases we refund your shipping costs as well. Like you, we are only human, and make mistakes. Hopefully, not too many. But remember, the items you see are antiques. Hence, have an expected amount of wear from normal use. As such, returning an item because we failed to mention the tiniest bit of wear, or barely discernible flaw is not acceptable. Nor do we accept returns based on buyer's remorse, change of taste, or because a buyer did not realize how "small" four inches might be once in hand. Any Item or Lot Sold "AsIs" is not elligible for Return or Partial Refund, no exceptions. Also all returns must beposted within14 days of delivery confirmation.
