Please find for sale an absolutely first class genuine UK hallmarked Art Deco ring made from 18ct yellow gold with platinum stone mounts and highlights to the shoulders. There are 12 eight cut diamonds set around - approx 30 points in total, to the centre is a fabulous genuine natural blue sapphire of over 50 points in size. The clarity and colour of the stone are superb - make no mistake, this is not an average 'cheapo' ring. the shank inner bears fullUKBirmingham hallmarks for 18ct gold 1926 - there's also a stamped 4 digit inventory number 8599, I only see these numbers on rings and jewellery from the top London retailers like Garrard, Asprey , Cartier etc.
This is in fine undamaged antique condition with no sign of repairs or stone replacement. Just light wear commensurate with the age.
From a good antique jeweller in London you would pay in excess of £2000 for a similar quality ring.
