Description Abeautiful large heavy English antique 18th century Georgian solid sterling silverserving spoon by the famous silversmith Hester Bateman inlovely conditionand with full English silver hallmarks for London 1784.Superb quality example by the top maker. Handsome large bowl with \"old English\" pattern handle and with nice entwined monogramof theoriginal owner. Weigh a heavyapprox 73 grams.

Measurements Large size, measures approx8.8 inches (223mm) in length, the bowl measures 3.1 inches (78mm) x 1.8 inches (46mm).Date English antique 18th Century Georgian solid sterling silver,with full English silver hallmarks for London 1784, (date letter \"i\"). Includes the lion passant silver mark andthe crowned leopards head stamp. Pre-dates silver duty so no duty mark.
