This superb Victorian combined gold sovereign vesta match safe measures 80mm (3.25\") long x 30mm (1.25\") and weighs 36 grams. It is fully hallmarked for solid English sterling silver Chester 1898 with the makers mark for the well known silversmith William Neale. It is in excellent antique condition with the stylised engraving still sharp the lid to the sovereign case and vesta both springing open and snapping shut as they should and the internal gilding still bright with no repairs or restorations.
