Description A superb large rareIrishantiqueearly 19th CenturyGeorgian solid sterling silver10 inch meat skewer by the silversmith John Power - (1788-1815), inlovely antique conditionand with full Irish silver hallmarks for Dublin 1803. Excellent qualitygenuine215 year oldsterling silver example, a scarce Irish silver skewer with a traditional silver ring handle end and with a good silver weight, 52 grams.Decorated with a handsome period engraved entwined monogram.

Date Irish antique early 19th Century Georgian solid sterling silver,with a full set ofIrish silver hallmarks for Dublin 1803(date letter \"G\"). Superb clear struck marks which includes the \"Crowned harp\" Dublin assay mark and the mark of Hibernia denoting Irish solid silver.
Maker Silversmiths initials \"J P\", (John Power - 1788-1815).
ConditionLovely antique condition,no splits or cracks, no solder repairsand no nasty knocks or dents, just a few age scratches, which will polish out ok if wanted and it is nice and straight. Beautiful quality, a good large usable size and with scarce Irish silver hallmarks.
