Superb Pair Of 19th C. Staffordshire Lustre Decorated Seated Hearth Dogs For Sale
These are a superbpair dogs with the lustre decoration.
During our research we have been informed theycertainly datefrom theperiod of the 19th century.
Certainly a wonderful portrayal of theseated hearth dogs.
A left and a right.
Wonderful overalldecoration with the hand painted detailing to the faces and bodies with the lustre decoration.
Each has an overall height of about 6inches.
Base sizesof about4 x 2.5inches.
Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition is excellentto the both with:
no major blemishes of chips, cracks or restoration.
