Hi everyone, thanks for having a look at my sales. Listed this week is a Really Amazing and Large Asian Art Estate Collection. If you have been watching my sales over the past couple weeks you would have already seen some of the great items that have already sold from the collection. This week I have listed what I consider to be the finer quality "choice" pieces from the estate collection. I believe this to be one of my finest sales to date, you just never see fresh from estate collections like this come up for sale these days, and mostly with s! There are many items listed I do not know a great deal about, so I am sure there are some really great treasures to be found!

Up for sale is a Very Fine Chinese Longquan Celadon Glazed Carved Porcelain Dragon Vase. The Vase is a very interesting and superbly made piece. The Vase is intricately hand carved throughout with two imperial five claw flying dragons chasing a pearl among clouds. The Top neck also has a nice leaf carved design, and the base with waves. The Vase has a truly beautiful light green celadon glaze, which is perfectly consistent all around the vase. The Vase has a finely written underglazed blue Qianlong mark to the base, along with a finely carved and formed footrim. The Vase also shows remnants of old collection or museum numbers to the base footrim. The Vase shows some good and legitimate age throughout. I am not sure if the vase would be a mark and period piece, or possibly a later made example, so I will let you decide for yourself and offer accordingly. As you can see the Qianlong mark also shows “body” to it, which if you know what I am referring to is a good sign to see, and something that should be found on a legitimate Qing Dynasty example. The Vase shows some light wear throughout and could use a cleaning to the interior. But overall the Vase is in fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The Vase displays beautifully measuring 9 inches tall, by 5 inches wide. I could not even imagine the skill and effort is would have taken to have produced such a superb example. The Vase is one of the Finest Quality pieces of Chinese porcelain I have seen.
