Stunning Sterling Silver, Gilt [Gold washed interior] Card / Cigarette Case with Magnificent Enamel Decoration By Famous Silversmith, William Neale ,Birmingham 1937.

Thisstylish card/cigarette case has stunning light blue enamel decoration on its lid which in combination with engine turned decoration on its base & gold washed interior have presented a superb and eye catching masterpiece.

This top quality card/cigarette case isantique & 76 years old but still in nice condition and would shine in any silver collection.

It is large and heavy and was made from outstanding gauge of sterling silver [97 grams].

Maker : W.N LTD, William Neal & son who had been registered in Birmingham for 121 years [between 1843 and 1964] and isundoubtedlyone the most famous British silversmiths for making top quality sterling silver Box, Card & Cigarette case,Vesta and Tea service.

Description and condition [ please see pictures]:

Beautiful sterling silver,gilt [Gold washed interior] and enamel card /cigarette case with highly detailed light blue enamel decoration on its lid which is making beautiful reflections from different angles [I have tried to show this eye catching reflections in provided pictures].

The enamel decoration is masterfully depicted with attention to the smallest details as you can see.

The engine tuned decoration on its back in combination with gold washed interior have added more beauty to this masterpiece.

It was made from outstanding gaugeof sterling silver [97 grams].

It is in very nice condition after 76 years withNo Dent/Split/Hole/Repair/Soldering what so ever.

Detailed enamel decoration is in stunning originalcondition with tiny loss to one corner that only can be seen in close inspection but has to be mentioned for accuracy [I have tried to show it in close up pictures].

Hinge is ingood order and the lid close nicely and tightly.

Gilt [gold washed interior ] is in superb original condition with almost no signs of aging.

Engine turned decoration on its back is also in nice original condition.
