This is for a nice vintage flip up pocket watch in a sterling silver case. The watch is fully marked with English sterling silver hallmarksdating it to Birmingham 1935 along with the makers initials S.S.M. The outside of the case has its original snake skin cover which has nice strong markings and the watchis fashioned as a little bag with a silver handle on the top. The watch opens by pressing the little button on the front this opens the case and the clock faceslides across the inside rimallowing it to be displayed as a clock. It has a classic deco face with 'Swiss Made' on the bottom along witha little second hand. The watch is running, it runs for a while and stops so probably needs a service. The case isinpretty good condition, there are no dings or dents to the silver anywhere and only light wear to one corner ofthe snake skin,the face of the watch is worn and faded in places as well , but its still clear. Closed it measures 38mm (1.5") square.
