Perhaps one of the best 9-ft nymphing rods of all-time, here is a wonderful 6wt 3pc Classic Sage SP. Google "favorite fly rods" and you'll see this rod show up on the message boards and article reply postings - Sage got it right with this one. This rod is particularly wonderful during spring run-off when water is high and fast and heavy shot is called-for - makes nymphing weighted double-flyrigs with an indicator easy and gives a nice open loop. This 3pc 6wt is a moderate action rod, but with the strength to lift line off the water and toss lead without flinching. This SP particular 6wt is one of the most coveted of all Sage fly rods because it will also fish dries with excellent precision, as well -a terrific all-arounder. I sell only it only because of a recent 6wt B3X aquisition.Rod comes with factory sock andtube, as pictured.
