Sailing Ships Of New England, Publication Number One, Hb, Copyright 1922:
The Sailing Ships of New England 1607-1906 by John Robinson, Curator of the Marine Room, Peabody Museum of Salem and George Francis Dow, Curator of the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities is a collection of worthwhile material relating to the ship. It has 67 pages of text describing shipbuilding in Massachusetts and 309 pictures of ships. It is copyrighted 1922 by The Marine Research Society and published by The Perkins Press in Topsfield, Massachusetts. Book shows signs of storage and aging, but the cover is the worst. Inside text pages are clean except for one page with a little writing in the margin and a few stains. All of it is plenty readable.
