This antique stunning pink sapphire & 18k white gold ring is a beautiful example of Art Deco design! This stone has incredible color, an eye-popping deep pink. I thought for a long time it was a ruby (it\'s been in my family for generations) but my jeweler told me that it\'s a pink sapphire, which were incredibly rare until late in the 20th century. The stone is probably \"lab-grown\" (she determined this based on the color) which were considered superior to plain ole dirt stones at the time.The filigree work in the 18kt white gold is meticulously detailed. Ring size 5 1/2.
