Salesman Sample? - Buttons On Cards (luster, China, Calico, Stencils, Etc.) For Sale
Buttons on Original Cards
Over 200 Buttons
I'm not sure of the exact age of these buttons, but they came out a dry goods store that has been shut down for over fifty years. I was told that they were Salesman Sample buttons that hung on display in a dry goods store possibly in the 1930s - 1940s, but since that wasover 60 years agoI can't verify that. Regardless, there are some really rare, unique buttons in this collection. Some appear to have flowers inlaid in them. Someof the cards are labeled as to they type of buttons on them, while others are not. Those labeledinclude:
- Luster Buttons
- China Buttons
- Calico Buttons
- Stencil buttons
- Gingham buttons
- Pie Crust
One card is complete, while the other 3 cards have a few buttons missing on them. These buttons are not perfect -- you may find some scratches on some of them, and afew broken ones, but overall most of themare in good condition, especially considering their age. There are over 200 buttons total in this collection.
