Ledaand the Swan PLAQUE, N.D. (1934). 100 x 60mm. Bronze. Raymond Pelletier Sc. (1907-1958).Struck by the Monnaie de Paris (Paris Mint). Edge incused with the date “1976”and BRONZE with Cornucopia mint hallmark. Uniface. Uncirculated. Obverse: Zeus, in theform of a swan with his wings laid, standing behind the nude figure of Leda andseducing her. Leda is standing frontal, her head turned right toward the swanand her left leg with drapery, is lifted, resting on a rock. At their feet,geometric waves and two flowers. Signedalong bottom left edge: R.Pelletier.
