The Landauer Co. was started in 1876 in Joplin, Missouri however not very much info is out there that I can find about this company, so possiblyvery short lived -even the pre-pro.com website has very little info and no timeline.

I\'d say early 1900\'s or there-abouts.

Its a nice looking shot glass with fancy etchedslanted script lettering that saysLandauer & Co., and then normal block letters forJOPLIN, MO.

Also a large L & Co monogram inside an etched circlealong with EST 1876.

Brand names used by this company include: \"Old Dave Hopkins\".

Very fine thin-walled delicate glass, typical of this era shot glasses.

Heightis about 2-1/8 inches.

Veryclean and immaculate glass, no damage not even a fleabite and I\'ve looked it over very carefully, also a lot of the original gold rim flashing is still present, nothing else to mention,lettering isvery strong, little signs of wear.
