MASONIC EasterN STARS COMPACT ISSUED BY PILCHER FOR A GRAND CHARTER ORDER OF THE EasterN STARS IN 1949

THIS IS ONE -OF-A-KIND COMPACT EXCLUSIVELY MADE WITH THE FINEST MICROSCOPICAL ART DECO DESIGN OF THE TIME

It measures 2.7/8 ì X .3/8 †and was made by PILCHER in U.S.A. in 1949.† The compact was never been used and is in Excellent vintage condition and closes with a pleasant sound.† The upper lid is enhanced with an amazing microscopical Art Deco design you had never seen before on any other compacts that has featured Masonic Eastern Stars. The upper lid is centered with an enameled Star of five different colors over shell / mother of pearl inlay inside of a framed golden rim and is enhanced with a colorful images with a dozens of microscopical details in the center of the star, beautiful herbal flowers within the corners of the star, and animals, palm leaves, mushrooms and etc.

The upper lid carries reflective framed glass mirror with tiny surface age-spotting. The powder well is covered with gold metal upper lid with a manual button-closure with spring-mechanism. The powder well is clean, framed with wool lining and the base is lined with a soft tabbed ivory material.† The powder puff is present and is made of tabbed upper and soft plush bottom, the puff inscribed with Pilcher gold logo. The base of the compact is covered with white enamel over engine-turned honeycomb design.
