The illustrated Schrade Knife is the Schrade 4X4r Knife that features a 3" modified drop point blade made of stainless steel. The blade of this Schrade knife has a non reflective coat, and dual thumbstuds for amofferextrous one hand opening. The handle is textured to provide a better grip with less weight. 4" closed, has a linerlock and lanyard hole. A pocket clip is mounted at the pivot end of this Schrade knife.The original Schrade Knife company, in business for 100 years, went out of business and closed their doors in July of 2004. The trademarks were purchased by Taylor Cutlery Company, manufacturers of the Smith & Wesson brand knives.
