The original Celtic jewelry used pieces of agate, then later into Victorian times and turn of the century, glass, imitating agate was used. This brooch appears to be glass set in silver tone metal. It originally had a simple C clasp, which has been professionally replaced with a locking C clasp for safety. 1 1/1 inches by 1 1/4 inches, in very good condition. Hallmarked Miracle.
