In my opinion, Sea Prancer is the best of all the carousel animals and horses that Lynn Lupetti designed for the Franklin Mint, and one of the rarest to come to the secondary market. Made of fine bisque porcelain, hand painted, detailed in 24 karat gold and finished in a lustrous glaze, this mythical sea creature emerges triumphantly from the deep. She wears a bridle of gold, accented by gold star fish and a saddle ringed with coral colored scallops. The white up front changes seamlessly to a beautiful sea green on her hind end which flourishes a huge golden fin and tail. Her hooves are gold. She rests on a brass carousel pole. The wooden base is a rich cherry color. The name plate is on the bottom of the base.
She has NO damage of any kind! Perfect condition as if she was just taken out of the box for the first time. The original box and certificate of authenticity are missing but who looks at them anyway? It\'s the porcelain sculpture that you\'ll be enjoying for years to come, right? And she will look amazing wherever you place her.
Measurements: the base is 8 1/4\" long by 6 1/2\" wide. The sculpture, to the top of the pole is 10 3/4\" and she\'s 7\" long from front leg to rear fin.
