I modified this with a volume pot and light inside and use to have it connected to my Seeburg Jukebox in another room. It played like it was a functioning wallbox but was not connected with a stepper unit like the way they were intended. It was used as an external speaker for my jukebox. You could do something like that with a boombox, ipod or whatever I guess. The speakers are original and don\'t forget.......not \"State Of The Art\" sound. There is no audio plug on the wires so you can add what you want and no ac plug on the ac wire.
