Required tools before installation:- Masking tape or simple adhesive tape
- Phone card / plastic card or sheath of a CD
Choose a flat and smooth surface such as walls, windows, cars, household goods, doors or tiles to stick the iStick sticker .
Beware if the wall is freshly painted avoid sticking the iStick before dry well or the end of two weeks.Thoroughly clean the surface from dust, grease and moisture. If you stick on wall, it is better to wash it well one day before (to dry!)
The iStick drawing is between the base of the paper (white back view) and the conveyor (transparent film).
Place the iStick up-side-down on a flat surface (eg a table or wall). Push the back of the iStick paper (white view) from the centre to all directions
with the edge of a flat and hard object (eg a phone card or with the sheath of a CD) so plan to stick better to the conveyor .Prior to application use masking tape to temporarily stick the design on the surface selected until you\'re sure this is the right place or the desired height.
Beware that the iStick sticker is removable but not reusable!
Application:
1. Pull (unstuck) carefully the base paper (white) behind of iStick, and see if all elements of the plan remains on the conveyor belt (which is the transparent film).
If not, stop and -using the phone card or your finger- push again the region so the plan to be transferred on the conveyor, and then continue the process of separation.2. Place the iStick on the surface we chose by pushing the plan to stabilize from the centre to all directions with the edge of the phone-card. 3. Very carefully tear away the transfer film (ie the transparent film). Starting from a corner and keeping your fingers near to the surface,
pull the conveyor belt to be left alone the drawing on the surface.
If this is not done, return and push again the plan towards the surface to stuck on it and to come off the conveyor belt.You are done!
Troubleshooting / Notes:
If you stuck the iStick on a smooth surface and remained small bubbles of air, press it with the phone card and drive the air out towards the nearest escape. Otherwise drill them with a pin and use the phone card to drive the air out.
If the wall or surface you selected is not completely smooth and not sticking up plan, use the hair dryer and heat thoroughly the plan before use a fabric to press it to stick.
If you want to remove iStick, you can just pull it, but, to avoid a mistake, use the hair dryer, heat very well the plan to soften the glue and then gently pull.
