Each plate is art by Derek G M Gardner and depicts one of \"The Great Ships of the Golden Age of Sail\". Each plate is \"A Limited First Edition\" issued by The Franklin Mint copywrited in 1986.

The set includes \"Preussen\", \"Endeavour\", \"Sovereign of the Seas\", \"H. M. S. Victory\", \"Belle Poule\", and \"Constitution\". The last four have a small information booklet.
