Set of Two Quadruple Silverplate Containers by James Tufts of Boston:
$41.00
This set of two elaborately decorated quadruple-plated silver boxes by James W. Tufts of Boston are in good condition for their age, though showing normal wear from long use. They probably date from the late 1800\'s - early 1900\'s, and were used to store jewelry and similar items. Both pieces are completely intact although the satin liners in both are starting to tear. The rectangular piece is approx. 7\" long x 5\" wide x 3 3/4\" high. The round piece is approx. 4 3/4\" in diameter and 6\" in height. Together they weigh about 3 pounds. Please see all the photos for details of both pieces.
