A good set of four \'Scots Fiddle\' tea spoons. Made of solid silver around 1780. There are no maker\'s marks or hallmarks on the spoons. This is not so very unusual for 18th Century Scottish teaspoons. They all have clear monograms \'B\'.The spoons measure 124mm each approx. and their combined weight is 47g.Two spoons are in very good condition. The third spoon has a slight nick to the bowl rim beside the heel and a slight crease to the bowl - see images. The fourth spoon shows a \'shadow\' of the heel on the inner side of the bowl - again see images. Otherwise these two spoons are also in very good condition.
