Seth Thomas Antique Clock Duel Chime Rare Collectible Vintage Early 1900's Key P:
For your consideration, Seth Thomas clock. This clock has a duel chime that chimes on the quarter hour. Keeps time well, doors open and close as they should. All brass has been polished, case has been redone, the dial is clean. This clock has been tested and works as well as it did in the early 1900's, clock is running fast at this time, will try to adjust. This is an 8 day wind clock that will need your attention every seven to eight days for winding. Comes with key and original brass sided pendulum. The finish is supreme and will not need any attention. Take it out of the box and display. Office or home, this is a wonderful antique from the Seth Thomas Collection. Seth Thomas made clocks starting in 1813. Fine products made in the early 1900's were mostly made of brass which does not wear, just gets neglected. This clock had run for almost one hundred years and will run for another hundred if maintained every five to seven years or so. Pass it down to your children. Good luck offerding and please ask and questions I am fairly good at quick reply's. Note: This is one of my clocks from a personal collection. I put it on the market every so often to let others have a shot. This is a great buy as an antique in great condition. There aren't many out there. Thanks so much.Note: I am not a clock expert. I do not have high tech equipment, and do not have a clock company. This is a hobby that focuses on putting old clocks that are ready for trash back into circulation because I think they are a fine piece of American History. The ST Co. was the first and best in early American clock manufacturing. I believe it is worth the effort to keep these items alive so other generations can experience the craft that was Seth Thomas. All items sold as is.
