Seth Thomas Northbury -1e, 8 Day Electric Westminster Chime Clock, E704-000:
You are offerding on a vintage Seth Thomas, Northbury - 1E, self starting electric Westminster chime clock from the 1950's, model # E704-000. It stands 11" tall, 8" wide, and 6" deep, and features a shell and base of rich mahogany wood, brass hands, sash, and feet, a silver plated numerical ring, and a 5.5' electrical cord. It is beautiful to look at and in great external physical condition with only minor scratches to the back door, but it does not keep time and I don't want to fix it. When the chimes go off they sound wonderful, but as I mentioned before, the clock doesn't work correctly anymore. When the minute hand gets to 15 past the hour, it skips backward 10 or 15 minutes. I have tried back winding it to no avail, and I don't know anything about taking apart clocks, much less fixing them, so I am selling this one AS IS.
