This is an exquisite original antique print from the early1880sby Sir Edwin Landseer. It depicts a beautiful scene with sheep and white doves resting in the shade of a sculpture or fountain. GORGEOUS!!!

It is an antiquecollotype print, which was a high quality printing technique that yielded both great detail and fine tones, and was generally reserved for high end art reproduction of the era.

This is NOT a recent copy or modern reproduction, but a GENUINE item over120 years old.

It is printed on heavy weight paper with a cream tone. The edges are guilded and it has its original tissue overlay. There are some smudges in the margins, but none effect the image (and could be trimmed or covered in a frame).
