Being offered for sale is this Elegant Victorian Renaissance Revival Recessed Oval Marble top Lamp Parlor Table circa 1875. This fine 19th century table features its original beveled edge oval marble top thatis recessed intoa walnut conforming table apron with gorgeous shell carvings on the apron. A large tiered finial adorns the center of the cross stretcher that joins the shapely carved legs. The marble is positively beautiful with no issues noted. There is a small piece of carving missing on one end of the apron up under the shell carving see close-up picture...nothing major in my opinion and appears to have been missing for a while.This table is solid, sturdy and is inbeautiful antique condition.A splendid period table thatoffers century old elegance of another era in time.
