Shellplate Bearing Kit For Dillon Xl 650 Hit Factor (650):
The Original Shellplate Bearing Kit for Dillon XL650 by Hit Factor Shooting Supply, LLC
This kit eliminates the snap when the shellplate advances to the next position. When the shellplate snaps, gunpowder splashes out of the casing causing a mess on your press and inconsistent loads. You will experience more consistent primer seating and cartridge overall length (C.O.L.) The overall operation of your press will be smoother.
No permanent alteration of the press is necessary. This photo shows the parts that come in the kit - two high quality hardened steel thrust races, one needle bearing, and one low mass detent ball. The bearing pack installs on the shellplate bolt. This will not affect the depth of seating of primers or require die adjustments. Ejector wire is not included with the kit, the pictures are examples of how to tune the wire. Here is a video for tuning the ejector wire.

Our bearing kits were featured in the Nov/Dec 2011 issue of Front Sight magazine.
This kit includes our Low Mass Detent Ball for the Dillon XL 650 and SL 900 and it's tough as nails. This phenolic resin ball is super hard, smooth and lightweight. It's approximately 7 times lighter than the factory steel ball and every bit as tough. The low mass detent ball has less momentum when it locks up with the shellplate. The material also absorbs vibrations much better than the steel ball. This detent ball is highly abrasion resistant and will not be cut or scared by the shellplate. These are industrial grade and used when strength and abrasion resistance is required. No modifications are required to run this low mass ball on your press.
Some folks have cut half a coil off of the detent spring to reduce pressure. We recommend giving our low mass detent ball a try, before modifying your press.
