This handsome and elegant bracelet dates from the late 1950's, made by the well known Canadian firm of "Sherman" designed as as a 1" wide five line bracelet featuring alternating lines of baguette and round shaped crystals for a pave motif. The bracelet is done in alternating rows featuring a series of dazzling and intense changeable alexandrite and lilac color round and baguette shaped crystals set in a rhodium plated setting. The bracelet measures 1" in width with a length of 7".

The bracelet is in excellent condition showing only normal use all the original stones, none missing or replaced. There is a very faint loss to the finish or plating on the back of the bracelet by the catch, this is very minor and does not detract..
The bracelet is not marked but collectors
will recognize the design <one of Sherman's most popular> and know that Sherman Jewelry was
sold through independent jewelry stores and large department stores such
as Eaton's, Morgan's, Simpson's and Henry Birks & Son. In many
cases, <usually the beaded items and sets> the pieces were in
a box or on a card marked "Jewels of Elegance" some identified only
with a silver paper string tag.SHERMAN
Sherman was a Canadian costume jewelry company that produced very high-quality pieces. Colorful or clear prong-set rhinestones or cut crystal beads (sometimes with an aurora borealis finish) adorn most Sherman pieces; the metal is rhodium-plated or gold-plated. "Jewels of Elegance" by Sherman was written on some carded Sherman jewelry. Sherman produced jewelry from 1947-1981.
