Tonight I'm happy to offer, from a recently purchased estate, Sherman, Vintage, Late 1950's - Opaque Turquoise Blue Color - Marquise and Round Shaped Crystals - .75" Wide - Butterfly Motif - Crystal Cluster Bracelet.
EXTREMELY RARE COLOR & DESIGN! - MINT CONDITION! - !
This graceful and elegant bracelet dates from the late 1950's, made by the well known Canadian firm of "Sherman" designed as as a .75" wide crystal cluster bracelet the links fashioned into a butterfly motif. The bracelet is done in a series of dazzling and intense opaque turquoise blue color round and marquise shaped crystals set in a rhodium plated setting. The bracelet measures .75" in width with a length of 7".
The bracelet is in mint condition showing only normal use all the original stones, none missing or replaced with no loss to the finish or plating.
The bracelet is marked the back of the links, Sherman, in script letters on a small silver square and also marked on the back of the clasp, Sherman in script letters. SHERMAN
Sherman was a Canadian costume jewelry company that produced very high-quality pieces. Colorful or clear prong-set rhinestones or cut crystal beads (sometimes with an aurora borealis finish) adorn most Sherman pieces; the metal is rhodium-plated or gold-plated. "Jewels of Elegance" by Sherman was written on some carded Sherman jewelry. Sherman produced jewelry from 1947-1981.
