Fantastic example of a signed Ronald E. Hansen Floral lampwork studio art glass paperweight. Lampwork flower with 6 petals and a silhouette cut center cane. Also has a signature cane to the right of the pretty blue stem. Hansen" which I have shown in the last photograph. Measures approximately 2" wide and 1 1/2" tall. Great condition with no scratches, chips, breaks or repairs. Ronald E. Hansen was an American Glass Artist born in Michigan in 1910 and he passed away in 1987. Considered a pioneer in the paperweight making of the 1960's, his creations are very collectable today.He made one-of-a-kind fruit, flower, and snake weight designs. Many of them have medium-to-dark background color glass. He created the designs by building, without crimps or molds. The average size of a Hansen weight is 2 1/2 inches. I do not use a flash or alter my photos, only natural sunlight or a regular table lamp.
